Hallo, my name is Denni Kurniawan. I'm student in Chung Hua University (CHU), Taiwan and I'm come from Aceh, Indonesia. I was a President of Islamic and Culture Association (ICA) in CHU since 2009 - 2011. ICA was a group from Muslim community in CHU to gather with all brothers and sisters to worship and also to introduce Indonesian culture and at the same time learn about Taiwanese culture. All my Taiwanese friends also teach me many things about Taiwan.
Before I'm studying in Taiwan, I pursued my Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering in Syiah Kuala University in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. Banda Aceh is my hometown and very beautiful place to study and also stay. I'm very sad when Tsunami happened in December 24th, 2004. I lost my fathers in that disaster, and most part of my hometown was destroy badly. Thanks to Allah, because of all aids for my hometown and including from Taiwan, now Banda Aceh back to normal and develop again. Thanks for all. I also get my Masters degrees in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia), Malaysia. Here I also get a lot of knowledge and I also have many great friends in Malaysia.
I'm very happy to join with CHU International Volunteer group. Because through this group I learn many new things about Taiwan. All my friends treat me just like their family although we just know for several months. I'm also happy because CHU International Volunteer group will get their first experience in this July 2011 to West Sumatra, Indonesia. I hope they will get a lot of interesting experience and also I hope this program will keep forever.
I'm very happy to have study in Taiwan, and I have so many great experience since my study. All Taiwan friends are very friendly and makes my journey in Taiwan more colorful. 謝謝, 我愛台灣 ^_^
