2011.7.26 Meeting with local leader
國際志工活動已經漸漸進入尾聲的階段，倒數第五天的時間，對於國際志工活動來說每分每秒都是非常珍貴的時光，而今天主要的活動是了解當地防災急難安置系統，而國際志工團訪問到當地的村長Sahayar，經由村長的解說使我們清楚知道當地防災急難安置系統的建構，同時也讓我們深入了解當地Ulakan村的狀態，全村面積約三十二平方公里，人口約有六千五百人左右，共兩千多戶人家，百分之八十是農夫，百分之十是漁夫，最後百分之十是公務人員，同時村長讓我們認識漁夫的生活狀況，以及讓我認識有機耕作的方式，同時介紹有機肥料的製作解說以及成品展示，有機肥料是藉由發酵以及昆蟲混和廚餘或水果皮製造而成，讓土地不會因化學肥料導致生態失衡，以及讓農夫可以藉由有機肥料來施肥，不須花錢購買化學肥料，以減輕農夫負債，真是一舉數得，因此有機耕作也是這幾年印尼政府努力推行的政策之一，而下午則是拜訪FIF組織位於巴東市內的訓練所，也讓我們見識到傳統印尼建築物，底部挑高一樓沒有房間，二樓開始使用，整體建物內部通風良好，光線充足，不需開冷氣就很涼爽，同時不須開燈就很光亮，是一棟環保的綠建築，總之今天又是收穫豐富的一天，只是今天有一段小小插曲，就是於晚間吃完晚餐後，因為語言的隔閡的關係，意外造訪司機先生溫馨的家庭，讓我感到開心，也是另一個意外的收穫。

International volunteer activities have gradually end of the mission. Today the main activities is visit to TOT. international volunteer group access to the local leader Sahayar. Let our understanding of local Ulakan. All area is about 32 square kilometers and a population of about 6,500, a total of more than two thousand families. There are about 80 percent of farmers, ten percent are fisherman, the last ten percent are officer. And let us know the fishermen's living and let me know organic farming. Afternoon are visit to FIF Organization Training center in Padang city. Let us known traditional Indonesia building. It is very cool without air conditioners, and do not need the lights.
